OMEGA682
Omega682 is one of Solema robotic tools for the palletising of blocks of sewn books, softcover books or hardcover books at the end of line.
Thanks to the principle of row operation, Omega682 is able to palletize books in a compact and stable manner, carefully moving the product being handled.
A row preparation device lines up the pile of products and slides them into the tool, in which an air cushioning system minimises contacts and frictions between the products and the tool. The two side tools jog and support the pile of books in order to hold them in place and to position them correctly on the end-of-line pallet.
The destination pallet – on which Omega682 lays the rows – can be of the following dimensions:
- 1200 x 800 mm
- 1200 x 1000mm
Depending on requirements, Omega682 inserts the slipsheet between one layer and another, ensuring even more stability to the final product, which can be transported more easily.
