Automatic book stacker

Automatic book stacker

Marte automatic stacker is designed to ensure precise alignment and accurate stacking of products in exit from any three-knife trimmer.

Automatic Stacker Adjustment

The infeed conveyor adjustable in height allows for simple and immediate integration with different production lines, ensuring precise and controlled feeding - even of pre-cut, pre-stacked product batches - thanks to the motorized upper and lower conveyor system.

The automatic stacker’s upper belts can be easily adjusted according to product thickness using a convenient control handwheel, providing maximum adaptability to various formats.

How the Automatic Stacker Works

Between the infeed conveyor and the pre-stacking station, a flat telescopic conveyor is installed to optimize product transfer and maintain a continuous workflow. Throughout the entire path, from infeed to output, products are guided and laterally controlled to ensure consistent and precise positioning. The adjustable side guides, also operated via an external handwheel, allow for quick and accurate setup.

Products are then automatically transferred from the telescopic conveyor to the pre-stacking station, where final alignment takes place for orderly and stable stack formation. During this phase, the rotation station automatically orients the products according to the panel settings, compensating for book spines and achieving a more precise and stable stack. After stack formation, a pusher hook moves the stack to the next stage, ensuring perfect final alignment of the products. Depending on the production line layout, the machine can be configured with either right- or left-hand exit, providing maximum integration flexibility.
