Solema Open House 2025: the TOP automation event
The Open House 2025 will take place from 9 to 11 April from 9 am to 5 pm – three packed days which will include demonstration paths featuringlive demos on a series of our own proprietary machines.
It will be a great opportunity to find out first-hand how our innovative automation systems work and how they can be integrated with the contribution of robots and cobots, also manufactured in-house by us.
Watching live performances of our machines is a concrete and tangible way of understanding the real potential of Solema’s automation and of exploring the innovative solutions in the field of automated robotics, thus paving the way for a constructive dialogue between us and sector-based professionals.
All solutions designed and developed to accelerate the production processes in the field of Graphic Art and Paper Board ensuring efficiency and respect for the environment.
The demos will take place in Pedrengo, partly in our main facility and partly in the Robotic Demo Center. Two locations specifically designed to get the very best out of the live performances of the machines guided by a road signs.
Graphic Art and Paper Board: two distinct demonstration paths
The two demo paths - which will take place at the same time and in loop, each one lasting 90 minutes in all - will be quite distinct from each other: one for Graphic Art and the other for Paper Board. The demos will be carried out by our expert technicians who will illustrate the characteristics and functionalities of all the machines on show.
It will be possible to attend both demos or just one of the two.
Two of Solema’s historical machines will be in action here, the Venus and the Pluton, respectively performing their depalletisation and palletisation functions.
Another key component of the path will be the SmartBox, Solema’s semi-automatic cartoning system for hard and soft cover books, renowned worldwide for its compact design that allows it to fit into even the smallest of spaces, and highly rated for its excellent performance at an affordable price.
The SmartBox will be integrated, at the end of the line, with Omega693-20 cobot, the Solema’s anthropomorphic robotic solution for palletising sewn, digital and gauze book blocks. This is the ideal combination to optimise the costs of depalletising, cartoning and palletising operations.
At the end of the path, we will move to the Robotic Demo Center, the showroom entirely dedicated to Robotics, where it will be possible to watch live performances of three of Solema’s industrial robots:
- Alpha681, robot row depalletiser
- Omega682, robot row depalletiser
- Omega683, robot row depalletiser
The star of the show here will be the Uni.Co, the revolutionary modular machine with the most innovative universal cutting system for solid or corrugated cardboard in the world, showcased here in its latest innovative configuration - called Uni.Co X - which includes an exclusive module for forming flat boxes and is the culmination of the Universal Converting project.
The path is completed by two other Solema machines, Multiroll Cut - for the high-speed production of solid fibre partitions and pads in solid cardboard - and Mini Sol XL - an affordable, compact stacker - showcasing the highest level of automation that can be achieved in a fully automated line for cardboard processing.
Multiroll Cut and Mini Sol XL will be integrated, at the end of the line, with Omega693-12 cobot, Solema’s anthropomorphic robotic solution.
The combination of these three machines highlights the variety of options offered by Solema’s wide range of machines , capable of fulfilling any request in the Graphic Art and Paper Board sectors.
