Solema Sales Meeting: a shared vision to face market challenges
On May 28th, the Solema Sales Meeting took place, a traditional meeting
that brought together 25 agents from the sales network worldwide to share
strategies, goals, and future perspectives.
The event, which took place between the company's headquarters in
Pedrengo and the Azienda Agricola Magri Sereno in Scanzorosciate (Bg), offered
participants the opportunity to discuss directly with management, diving deep
into the main innovations that will drive the company's growth in the coming
years, and viewing live various machines in action, particularly those inside
the Robotics Demo Center.
CEO Luca Parsani opened the proceedings, emphasizing how the economic and geopolitical context of recent months has required adaptability and strategic vision.
Here is an excerpt from his speech:
"For us, but not only for us, 2025 was not a simple year. But at
the same time, this period confirmed something important: Solema is able to
adapt! We reacted by opening up to new opportunities, targeting new markets
such as Digital, and moving into new sectors like Consumer Packaging and
Folding Carton, while also strengthening our international structure and
investing in Research and Development."
The Sales Meeting represented an important opportunity to reinforce team
spirit, share knowledge, and consolidate a common vision capable of facing a
constantly evolving market with determination, proving that Solema is an
active, solid company constantly keeping pace with the times, capable of
supporting its sales force at any time.
New markets and new opportunities for industrial automation
One of the central themes of the meeting was the growth path that Solema
is developing in the Digital Printing, Consumer Packaging, and Folding Carton
sectors, markets considered strategic for the company's future, with great
growth opportunities ahead.
In these segments, the demand for industrial automation is steadily increasing, especially in areas where manual handling continues to cause operational inefficiencies and a heavy reliance on labor.
Solema's goal is to become an international benchmark partner for the automation of these new production processes, while maintaining its leadership in the historical sectors of Graphic Art and Paperboard.
Particular attention was dedicated to the digital printing sector, a rapidly evolving market where customers demand flexible solutions for numerous operations, such as:
- extremely fast size changeovers
- reduction of make-ready times
- maximum production flexibility efficient
- management of short runs and micro-lots
- optimization of end-of-line activities
New solutions for Digital Printing and Packaging Automation
To support growth in emerging markets, Solema presented to its sales
force a series of new solutions designed to meet the needs of modern production
processes.
