From 1st January 2026, Solema
strengthens its ties with the British market by starting a strategic
collaboration with Kolbus UK, which officially becomes Solema's sole agent for
the Graphic Arts sector in the United Kingdom and Ireland. A fully-fledged operational
branch for sales, consulting, and local technical assistance. A fundamental
step to strengthen its local presence, improve customer service, and develop
new opportunities in the graphic arts field.
The UK market has
always played an important role for Solema's business. This is why we
are pleased to announce major news regarding our sales structure: from 1st January 2026 a strategic collaboration with Kolbus UK has officially begun. They
have thus become our sole agent for the
United Kingdom and Ireland in the Graphic Art sector, establishing themselves as a true local branch.
A solid, continuous,
and qualified presence in the region, designed to be even closer to current and future customers, speaking the same
language and having a thorough understanding of the specific needs of the bookbinding
and graphic arts sectors.

UK Ltd sells machines and
spare parts to the Graphic Arts
sector in the United Kingdom and Ireland, providing consultancy and
specialist technical support to traditional
and digital bookbinding and printing companies.

Thanks to the partnership with Kolbus UK, Solema will be able
to rely on a dedicated structure in the
UK, capable of consistently and proactively monitoring the market.
This will not be a simple commercial collaboration, but the
creation of a true “local branch”
dedicated to customers in the UK and Ireland. Their in-depth knowledge of
the graphic arts and bookbinding sectors will allow the Kolbus UK team to act as Solema's direct contact in the
region. This will help overcome linguistic
and logistical barriers, ensuring a
more fluid and constant dialogue.
An approach that will strengthen existing relationships,
develop new collaborations, and disseminate Solema's strategic developments
more effectively, from new machines in
production to the latest innovations
in robotics to interconnection
processes applied to Industry 4.0.

collaboration will be the local After
Sales service, particularly important for customers in the United Kingdom
and Ireland.
Kolbus UK will provide its
team of technicians trained directly by Solema, constantly present in the
area and ready to respond promptly
on-site to maximise plant efficiency. All under the supervision of the central After Sales department located at Solema's
headquarters in Pedrengo, Italy.
The service will include technical
assistance and preventive and
scheduled maintenance and, above all, timely
and concrete support that will resolve every intervention request without long waits.
Optimised logistics: spare parts in stock and reduced
delivery times
The strategic partnership with Kolbus UK brings with it an immediate logistical advantage: the
creation of a local warehouse of spare
parts, immediately available.
This will allow customers to access original Solema components in record time, eliminating
the complexities associated with import
procedures and drastically reducing
machine downtime.
