Row depalletizing equipment

VENUS depalletizing equipment can de-palletize semi-finished products like sewed and / or glued book blocks, feeding them automatically into perfect binders and hard cover lines. VENUS depalletizing equipment allows to eliminate the heavy workload and physical effort of the operators, improving the production capacity of the lines thanks to an improved continuity and increased speed in the product’s feeding.

In order to ensure a safe and efficient depalletizing process, the machine must be programmed according to pallets features, such as book layers and overall dimensions.
For the same purpose, pallets fed to the machine need to include a specific slip-sheet that allows smooth operational continuity.
Depending on space availability and production needs, the depalletizing equipment can have different configurations.

VENUS redefines production efficiency and depalletizing equipment. By ensuring a smooth and continuous flow of materials, it optimizes production capacity and minimizes downtime. VENUS adapts effortlessly to diverse manufacturing environments.

Operation continuity means that the machine is able to receive a new pallet while already working on another one. Venus can be equipped with an automatic pallet stacker to stack and store pallets at the end of operation.

FAQ

A row depalletizing equipment is a machine designed to fully automate the process of picking rows of book stacks from a finished pallet. The machinery was developed to meet the need for automatically feeding paperback or hardcover binding lines
The pallet is fed into the row depalletizing equipment via a motorized roller conveyor. Next, two clamps grip the tier sheet, lift the first layer, and transfer it onto an idle roller conveyor. At this point, each row is translated, separated from the others, aligned, squared, and pushed toward the conveyor belt, ready to be collected
No, there is no risk. The row depalletizing equipment has been engineered with materials specifically designed and tested to prevent friction, scuffing, or any type of contact that could damage the product, even if it has just been printed
Startup is extremely fast: simply select the desired recipe from the touch panel, and Venus is instantly operational. If you need to enter a new recipe, the time increases slightly but remains within a few minutes. From that moment on, the row depalletizing equipment works continuously and without interruption
To use Venus, a rigid plastic tier sheet (1 mm thickness) pallet 1220 x 1016 mm (48 × 40"), 1200 × 800 mm (47 1⁄4 × 31 1⁄2 ”)Europallet, are required. These two elements significantly increase stability and drastically lower the risks of product damage or process failure during operation
The Venus takes up only 17 m²
