Building on the success of the recent Open House in the USA, we are now preparing for two major international events: Fruit Attraction in Madrid, the global reference point for the fruit and vegetable industry, and Printing United in Orlando, the leading and most dynamic event in the printing industry.
For Solema, taking part in major industry events has always meant being present, sharing expertise, and fostering opportunities to connect.
September got under way with an Open House held from the 10th to the 12th at Solema’s American site in Crawfordsville, Indiana. An event that provided our customers and partners with the opportunity to get a first-hand look at our machines.
Our focus is now already turning to the upcoming events: two major international fairs where we will showcase our technological solutions in dedicated spaces. The first is Fruit Attraction in Madrid, the global reference point for the fruit and vegetable industry; the second is Printing United in Orlando, one of the most dynamic and comprehensive events in the world of printing and bookbinding in North America.
Different events with one common goal: to provide our customers with innovative automation solutions guided by the passion that has always been our hallmark.
Solema Usa - Open House: always at our customers’ side, wherever they are
From 10 to 12 September, a special Open House was held at the Solema USA site in Crawfordsville, Indiana, attended by visitors from across the American continent, including professionals from the graphic art and packaging sectors.
The event, which proved to be a resounding success, enabled our customers and partners to get a first-hand look at the most innovative automation solutions in the field of Graphic Art and Paperboard.
The large turnout, with attendees showing strong interest in our machines, once again confirmed the value of our solutions, and transformed the initiative into a opportunity for a stimulating and constructive exchange of ideas with our technicians and sales team.
During the event, numerous live demonstrations took place of Solema innovative solutions, including its advanced palletising, depalletising, stacking and cartoning systems. The open house provided the perfect opportunity to showcase our automation technologies, resulting in positive feedback and praise, thus cementing our position as a reliable, cutting-edge partner.
The I configuration of our UNI.CO machine - for longitudinal and transversal cutting - proved to be a resounding success along with Quadro, and Omega693-12. This application is based on collaborative robotic technology designed for palletising blocks of sewn, digital and gauze-bound books, as well as pads and cardboard partitions.
The Open House offered the chance to present our U.S. Set-up to those not yet familiar with it: an authentic well-established support base for customers and a clear demonstration of Solema’s presence, strength and reliability in the American market.
We are able to provide prompt support to our customers not only on technical and commercial matters, but also in the supply of spare parts through automated warehouses both overseas and at our headquarters in Italy.
A strategic presence that allows us to provide ongoing support to our customers and ensure the continuity and efficiency of their production.

- UNI.CO - I configuration the most innovative universal cutting system in the converting world, the perfect solution for anyone working in the converting industry for any type of paperboard, starting from solid or corrugated sheets
- QUADRO the ideal stacker for pads, slotted partitions and other paperboard products delivered from slitters, slotters and creasers
- SOL-BOX an automatic feeder for all tray erecting machines with a flat storage system
A team effort Open House: Solema and its partners
Two of our long-standing partners also took part in the Open House with their machines: Tecnobox Electromecanica from Spain and SCS Automaberg based in Italy.
Tecnobox, specialised in the production and maintenance of forming machines and automated cardboard packaging solutions, showcased one of is most innovative solutions: the TB2 Pack, the heart of modern packaging solutions, with cutting-edge technology and an efficient design that offers high performance and optimal management of the production process.
SCS Automaberg the reference point for the design and production of finishing stations in the bookbinding and paper goods sector, both standard and customised, showcased the DCH60 an automatic die cutter for paperboard and cardboard, with fast machine set-up times and the possibility of hot foil stamping.
Our CAST at Fruit Attraction in Madrid
From 30 September to 2 October, Solema will be taking part with Tecnobox at the 2025 edition of Fruit Attraction, the international fruit and vegetable industry fair, held in Madrid at the IFEMA - Feria de Madrid.
Fruit Attraction is the leading event for the global marketing and innovation of fruit and vegetables. Its ability to promote global exports in the industry makes it the commercial centre for all professionals involved in the entire fruit and vegetable supply chain.
At Fruit Attraction, we will be guests on the TecnoBox stand, with our own space where visitors will be able to view CAST in action, a machine co-designed with TecnoBox.
CAST is an automatic forming machine built to produce PalBox trays in flat form, designed to be fully portable and for use in the production of large boxes suitable for transporting fruit and vegetables in particular, such as pumpkins, watermelons and melons.
At Printing United alongside Muller Martini
Solema will also take part in the Printing United EXPO 2025 fair slated to be held from 22 to 24 October. The world’s most dynamic and leading event for the printing and bookbinding in North America will take place at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
Printing United brings the entire printing industry together under the same roof to offer maximum return on investment. Over the course of three days, participants and exhibitors will gather and reconnect, sharing ideas while networking and learning about the latest technologies offered by the industry.
At Printing United, Solema will also be hosted by an exceptional partner: Muller Martini, a world leader in the production of print finishing systems.
This year marks the thirtieth anniversary of the start of the partnership between Solema and Muller Martini, one that has resulted in numerous winning collaborations.
There will be a customised Solema space inside the Muller Martini stand where it will be possible to see an Omega693-12 model in action , the collaborative robotic application mentioned above.

The Solema Usa Open House and two global trade fairs underscore the importance of these opportunities for dialogue and live demos.
